Available dates

Every trip is private. You book the whole departure for your own group, so you will only ever share the beach with people you know. Browse by month below, then pick a date that is still open.

How booking works. Prices are per person. Cycling trips run for groups of 5 to 10 riders, surf trips for 4 to 10. Smaller group, or travelling solo? You can still take a private trip by paying for the minimum number of places. Bring more than 7 and every extra place is R2,000 less. A 25% non-refundable deposit secures your date, and bookings close 30 days before departure.

All our trips are private groups. If you are travelling solo or as a couple and would rather not book a whole trip, get in touch and we will talk through the options.

Paying and cancelling

Deposits, balances and refunds

Every departure is sold in full to one group, and there are only twenty‑two of them in a year. When a date is taken it closes to everyone else, which is why the terms below tighten as departure gets closer.

How payment worksA 25% deposit secures your date and closes it to everyone else. The deposit is non‑refundable. The balance is due 60 days before departure, and if you book inside 60 days the full amount is payable at the time of booking. Bookings close 30 days before departure. Payment is by electronic transfer, in South African rand.

Half the trip price is returned. Where we can, we will offer you another date instead.

14 days or fewer

No refund

By this point the date is closed, the camp is booked and the food is bought. We cannot sell the date again.

If we have to cancelWe will only ever cancel for safety or access: severe weather, a closure of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, or a permit decision outside our control. If that happens you choose — a full refund, including the deposit, or we move your booking to another date. We carry the cost of our own cancellations, not you.

Swapping a rider is free at any time. Tell us before departure so we can plan food and gear.

A smaller group does not change the price below the minimum charge for the trip. You booked the whole departure, so the places stay yours.

Death or hospitalisation. If the person the booking was made for dies or is hospitalised, no cancellation charge applies and we refund in full, deposit included. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

If we resell your date after you cancel, we refund what we recover. We will not be paid twice for the same departure.
